The Academically and Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program at W.A. Bess Elementary is designed to challenge students and help them reach their full potential.

Students in our AIG program benefit from advanced classes that offer meaningful, creative and challenging instruction. We provide an environment where gifted and high-achieving students can think deeply, solve complex problems and explore new ideas.

Students also have the chance to take part in activities that go beyond the classroom, including Battle of the Books, math competitions and literary events.
